Adventure paddling between Älgnäs and Tönnebro

This summer's delightful adventure paddling takes place between Älgnäs and Tönnebro, where you can choose between kayaking or canoeing.

–We assist with delivering all equipment to the starting point, and we also transport cars to the endpoint/destination," says Kenneth Asp, who runs Kajakshopen in Söderhamn and Axmar Kajak. This is both a calm paddling trip but can also be a bit of an adventure depending on the water level.

The journey between Älgnäs and Tönnebro, located along a detour from E4 between Gävle and Söderhamn, consists of a mix of lakes and winding canals. Beautiful and serene nature makes this paddling trip a wonderful day tour.
– The paddling is approximately 15 km, and there is a very cozy picnic area where you can stop and barbecue or even stay overnight, says Kenneth. "It is located about halfway to Tönnebro on the island of Storön in the lake Björkången.

Canoeing is recommended for families with children under 10 years old. The price is 1000 SEK per person, and a minimum of two people is required for a booking. However, you can also be a larger group as Kajakshopen has plenty of canoes and kayaks. Life jackets, a map, and plenty of good advice are included, of course.
